Ozark Folk Center is one of the premier parks in the Arkansas State Park system. Located outside Mountain View, it showcases traditional Ozark culture through craft demonstrations, folk music and educational displays.
The park hosts many events throughout the season. The centerpiece of the folk center is music. It holds many concerts during the season at the music theater.
That said, there are plenty of demonstrations and places to shop to buy Ozark crafts and gifts. The park brochure is below and it provides a great map and directory of the things to do at the park.
Nearby Mountain View is the Folk Music Capital of the world. It offers many places to eat and shop. It is a worthwhile side trip when you visit the Ozark Folk Center.
