About

The Lower Buffalo National River Association is comprised of businesses which cherish this river and provide quality and trusted establishments catering to visitors to this area. The river and the Buffalo National River Park are located on Scenic Highway 14, just 17 miles south of Yellville AR, the county seat of Marion County. Its members are all located within this corridor or close to it and are near the Lower or Middle Buffalo National River. The association's members offer various lodging choices, several fishing services, RV and camping sites, restaurants, canoe and kayak float concessions, and easy, moderate, and difficult hiking trails.

The Buffalo National River is the most popular vacation destination for those who seek the enjoyable activity of outdoor recreation in a pristine environment, alone or with friends and family, or the peaceful feeling knowing that relaxation and enjoyment of the beautiful scenery and the peaceful, unrushed environment of the area is all one needs to accomplish in the time spent here. It is truly a wildlife mecca abounding in wild turkeys, deer, plentiful and seasonal wild flowers, scenic vistas, beautiful forests, colorful birds and other flora and fauna not readily available to those who live in other parts of the United States. And the dark sky at night provides the viewer with a wonderland of twinkling stars, not soon to be forgotten.
